As a Marketing Intern at Romp Stomp - a children's barefoot shoe company - I was put at the head of a product launch. I led the scheduling, outsourced talent, content creation, and email campaigns.

Scheduling

I planned the final release date 2 months out to ensure time for photos, graphics, social media, and emails to be finished with plenty of time to adjust as needed. I set myself deadlines to meet along the way for my deliverables to get done ahead of time and communicated the deadlines to the other employees on the project.

Outsourced Talent

Our graphic designer was outsourced from another country, so communication was critical to ensure that branding was consistent with our aesthetics and our brand voice. I wrote all the email and graphic templates/memos for her to create deliverables with. If something was off or inconsistent, I quickly provided feedback for her to redesign.

Content Creation

I coordinated with our brand photographer and found child models for the photoshoot in the new shoes. I also selected the theme and built a vision board to inspire props, poses, and overall vibes of the shoot. The shoes were a funky green checker pattern, so I styled the shoot to a groovy 70s vibe to match. Our social media content creator joined the photoshoot and worked with me to prompt poses.

Email Campaign

As mentioned before, I wrote the email campaign templates to send to our graphic designer. Using our brand voice and doing research on our target market, I wrote the emails about all sort of mom topics and issues to be relevant to our market, and I always directed focus to our product and nudged the reader to our website.
